RQSHA Scolarship Top-Ups for graduate studies

In order to support training activities, the RQSHA offers additional scholarships for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who have received partial funding from source(s) other than the FRQ. These funds are granted to student members of the RQSHA whose supervisors are also members of the RQSHA.

Four deadlines per year:

  • January 15: Clinical research and innovative treatments axis
  • April 15: Neurobiology of mood disorders axis
  • July 15: Psychosocial dimension, ethics and indigenous health axis
  • October 15: Substance use disorders axis

Modalities

Additional scholarships are offered to master’s and doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows with partial funding granted by an organization with a peer review committee (supporting documents required). The funds offered by the RQSHA are used to supplement scholarships up to:

$ 25,000 for masters’ students (maximum total amount of $ 5,000 awarded for the duration of the scholarship)

$ 35,000 for doctoral students (maximum total amount of $ 5,000 awarded for the duration of the scholarship)

$ 50,000 for postdoctoral fellows (maximum total amount of $ 5,000 awarded for the duration of the scholarship)
