Grant announcement: Support for research on Suicide Prevention Programs in Quebec

The RQSHA is pleased to announce the results of its funding competition to support research on Suicide Prevention Programs in Quebec. Three projects were supported with the aim of catalysing research capacity in suicide prevention and to stimulate innovation in prevention practices.

The three funded projects are:

  • Massimiliano Orri (Université McGill): Comparative efficacy and acceptability of psychotherapies for the prevention of self-harm in adults: systematic review and network meta-analysis 
  • Helen-Maria Vasiliadis (Université de Sherbrooke): ADHD medications and mortality risk by suicide: a real-world population study 
  • Patricia Conrod (Université de Montréal) : Contextual Risk Factors Moderating the Effectiveness of CBT-Based Brief Personality-targeted Interventions for Adolescent Suicide: Secondary Analysis of the Montreal CoVenture Trial
