Article in Le Devoir newspaper: When science opens the door to suicide prevention

Read an article published in a special section of Le Devoir for the 87th annual ACFAS meeting, during which the RQSHA will present a symposium.

Academics Marie-Claude Geoffroy, Ph. D., from McGill University, Monique Séguin, Ph. D., from Université du Québec en Outaouais and Sylvanne Daniels, Ph. D., from the Douglas Research Institute, are organizers of the symposium, titled “Suicide: New scientific perspectives and importance for prevention.” which was presented May 29 during the ACFAS annual meeting.  Together, they answered questions about suicide, its prevention and new avenues proposed by science.
